Franklin, TN – Six Traditions Health hospice branches have earned the SHPBest™ Caregiver Experience Award from Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) for the 2024 calendar year. Branches in Chula, GA, and Warner Robins, GA received the SHPBest™ “Premier Performer” Caregiver Experience Award, while branches in Carrollton, GA; Lafayette, LA; Orange, CA; and Plainview, TX received the SHPBest™ “Superior Performer” Caregiver Experience Award.
“There are many benchmarks that measure the quality of care we provide, but a patient satisfaction award is the highest form of recognition. It reflects the commitment our teams have to providing quality, compassionate, patient-centric care,” said Corrinne Ehlert, chief clinical and quality officer of Traditions Health.
The “Premier Performer” award recognizes organizations that have achieved an overall caregiver and family experience score that ranked in the top five percent of all eligible SHP clients. The “Superior Performer” award recognizes organizations that have achieved an overall caregiver and family experience score that ranked in the top 20 percent of all eligible SHP clients.
The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge hospice providers that consistently provide high-quality service to families and caregivers of patients receiving hospice care. The 2024 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospice survey experience score for more than 1,800 hospice providers. With one of the largest CAHPS Hospice benchmarks in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made family and caregiver experience a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the CAHPS Hospice survey.
